Established on 180 acres of rolling hills in a rural setting, Tuchekoi Outdoor Centre is on the edge of the Mary River Valley and Noosa Hinterland about one and a half hours north of Brisbane. Tuchekoi is also less than an hour from the Sunshine Coast. Although it is so close to Brisbane, a major contributor to the popularity of Tuchekoi Outdoor Centre is the perceived remoteness of its location.

Founded in 1982, Tuchekoi Outdoor Centre is available to many organisations for a variety of uses. Guests have exclusive use of the Centre and its facilities duration of their stay. There is also the opportunity for ‘day only’ programs and conferences, for self-catering and for expeditions.

Whilst there is a wide range of Outdoor Team Building and Adventure Activities available on site, a number of visitors choose to use the activities for Recreational purposes or to use the comfortable Conference Facilities. Some recent guests have utilised the facilities for Band Camps, Christian Family Group Retreats, Sports Development, Tour Groups for People with Disabilities, Corporate & School Executive Meetings, and Product Launches. Tuchekoi is established to suit the individual requirements of your group.

Accommodation
Accommodation is in the form of shared rooms, with three double bunks in each room. Five of these are serviced with en-suite facilities and have window views over dams and rolling pastureland. The eight other roomy cabins are carpeted and share a communal shower and toilet area – this is connected to the cabin buildings by covered verandahs.

Catering
Dining is in a self-serve style dining room that comfortably seats up to 50 adults or 80 children. All meals are prepared in the adjoining kitchen. For special functions, buffet style service is available. Meals are simple, well-presented and nutritious. Special dietary requirements can be met with sufficient prior knowledge. Facilities
Many guests to Tuchekoi make use of the comfortable Conference Room (Ceiling fans and wood stove - No air conditioner). Seating is available for up to 80 adults in a lecture style arrangement. Several other areas are available for small group work. Conferences and workshop presentations are enhanced by the availability of Whiteboards, pin-boards, Television and VCR, Overhead Projector, Stereo and CD player.
